Over 70 friends and alumni gathered at Superstition Springs Golf Club in Mesa on February 18. Kim Nelson, Executive Director, and Jane Vagnsness Frisch, Vice President of Student Affairs and Strategy, hosted the luncheon, which included a College update. Reconnecting with alumni is always fun, but even more so when it's sunny and warm!
Each year, the Foundation hosts scholarship luncheons to bring students and donors together. The first luncheon was held October 27, and the second one was December 1. Approximately 265 students and donors were present at the two events. The luncheons are a wonderful time for students to meet the individuals and businesses behind the scholarships they receive.
The Alumni Foundation participated in Philanthropy Day on November 15, by holding a 24-hour online "Giving Day". As part of the Foundation's fall campaign, Giving Day is intended to attract and reach donors online, who are looking for a great cause on Philanthropy Day. Several alumni and friends participated for a total of $4,695. The Alumni Foundation is grateful for your support and investment in NDSCS and its students.
Donors make a HUGE difference to students at NDSCS. We are excited to kick-off our annual fall campaign, "The Tradition of Success Continues". Through the generosity of our alumni, friends, and business community, we are able to award over $830,000 in scholarships this year! The mission of the Alumni Foundation is to support and assist those activities that strengthen NDSCS. Together, we can continue the tradition of achieving great things with and for NDSCS!
Are you an Electrical Technology Alumni or graduate of one of the many programs housed in Barnard Hall? If so, you will be receiving a call from PCI (Publishing Concepts, Inc), a company assisting us in contacting alumni as well as gathering stories of time spent at NDSCS/NDSSS.
