Alumni Foundation Seeking New Executive Director
After an impressive 22-year tenure with the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS), Kim Nelson, the Executive Director of the NDSCS Alumni Foundation since 2016, has announced her plans for retirement. Nelson's career at NDSCS has been marked by significant contributions in various roles, including alumni coordinator and major gifts officer, before growing into her current leadership position.
NDSCS Alumni Foundation Awards Nearly $1.5 Million in Scholarships for 2024-2025
The NDSCS Alumni Foundation Board of Directors and Kim Nelson, Executive Director, proudly announces the awarding of scholarships for FY25 totaling $1,429,654. The NDSCS Alumni Foundation board members are thrilled to be able to award this record amount to our students and programs for the upcoming 2024-2025 year.
NDSCS Alumnus, Steve Farden, wins prestigious industry award
Steve Farden, president of Farden Construction and a distinguished graduate of North Dakota State College of Science, received the prestigious John M. Agrey Award from the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute (UGPTI) on October 12, 2023.
This award, UGPTI's highest honor, is bestowed upon individuals who demonstrate an exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, vision, and leadership within North Dakota's trucking and construction sectors.
