Homecoming '22 a success!

Homecoming festivities were held September 30 and October 1, where both the Foundation and NDSCS Athletics honored several award winners. Friday began with a Catbacker Luncheon, pep rally, and Alumni & Friends banquet. About 150 were in attendance Friday evening. The honorees were: Roger Hentges, Alumnus of the Year, C & S Farms, Friend of the College, Vivian Bernotas, Parade Grand Marshal, Barney Hilgers Family, Family Tradition, and Curt Gollnick, Wildcat of the Year. Kim Nelson, Executive Director, led the program while each honoree spoke.

NDSCS Career Innovation Centers' progress continues

The North Dakota State College of Science Alumni/Foundation, in partnership with the Cass County Career and Technical Education Center (C3TEC), announced that construction progress continues on the new Career Innovation Center (CIC), located at 4230 64th Avenue South in Fargo, N.D. The CIC groundbreaking took place in July 2021, and soon thereafter construction began on Phase 1 of the more than 92 thousand square foot project (57,065 square feet in Phase 1, and 35,104 square feet in Phase 2).

Rapid City Area Meet and Greet to be held September 15

Rapid City area almuni and friends are invited to join Executive Director Kim Nelson for a meet and greet on September 15. The event will take place at the Dahl Events Center, downtown Rapid City from 5-7 p.m. A meal will be catered by Angels Catering. The cost is $15 per person and includes the meal.

NDSCS Alumni Foundation to Host event in Ottertail

The North Dakota State College of Science Alumni/Foundation will host a Meet and Greet gathering in Ottertail on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 9-11 a.m. The event fee includes brunch at The Otter with a short program to follow. All alumni, friends, and partners of NDSCS are welcome. NDSCS’s 10th President, Dr. Rod Flanigan will be attending along with other administration and staff. Kim Nelson, Director of the NDSCS Alumni Foundation, explains “it is our mission is to connect alumni and friends of the college – this event is a great way to make these important connections.”
