NDSCS Earns 2025-2026 Military Friendly School Designation

Military Friendly School Seal

North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) is proud to announce it has once again been recognized as a Military Friendly® School — this time for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Military Friendly® School designation is awarded based on both public data and responses from a proprietary survey. The evaluation process, developed by Viqtory with guidance from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council, considers an institution’s performance in areas such as student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, and degree advancement. Special attention is given to outcomes for student veterans.

More than 1,800 schools participated in the 2025-2026 survey, with only 830 institutions earning special awards for exceeding the standard. The full list of Military Friendly® Schools is featured in the May and October issues of G.I. Jobs magazine and is available online at www.militaryfriendly.com.

“The Military Friendly® School designation illustrates NDSCS’s strong and unwavering support for our military students,” said Mike Paolini, NDSCS VA Certifying Official. “We are committed to ensuring the academic success of this growing population.”

NDSCS offers a variety of online courses and programs to accommodate students who are placebound or timebound, making it easier for current and former military members to continue their education or gain new skills.
