North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) is thrilled to announce its participation in Giving Hearts Day, a community-wide philanthropic event aimed at raising funds to benefit our esteemed Nursing programs. This annual celebration of generosity will take place on February 8, 2024 offering an opportunity for individuals and organizations to make a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare in North Dakota.
Giving Hearts Day is a day of giving where donors come together to support local nonprofits and educational institutions. NDSCS is proud to be a part of this initiative, which aligns perfectly with our mission of providing high-quality education and producing top-notch healthcare professionals for the region.
Since 1950, the Nursing program at NDSCS has a rich history of preparing students for successful careers in healthcare. Our graduates have gone on to serve as compassionate and skilled nurses, making a profound difference in the lives of patients and their families. As the program expands and opens a spring cohort, 32 additional RNs will be educated each year. Ability to facilitate that program growth relies on the generosity of donors, to allow the College to continue its tradition of excellence.
This Giving Hearts Day, NDSCS aims to raise funds to support the program growth needed to serve more aspiring nursing students, enhance state-of-the-art simulation labs, and provide resources for faculty development. Your contributions will enable us to attract and retain talented individuals who are committed to advancing healthcare in North Dakota.
