The NDSCS Alumni Foundation will hold its first Giving Day on Sunday, November 15. The 24-hour online giving event, with a theme of “Fund the Future”, will support the Foundation’s charge to raise funds for students, faculty and programs. All who are interested in donating are invited to visit ndscsalumni.com/givingday between 12 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. on November 15. Donations of any amount can be made using credit or debit card, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Microsoft Pay.
The Giving Day event is scheduled on National Philanthropy Day, which is a day to pay tribute to the charitable work that everyone does to make a difference and create impact in their communities. This new event was developed in collaboration with students as part of a Business Management course. The students were instrumental in developing the timeline for the campaign, establishing the goal and the “Fund the Future” theme.
“It is such great privilege to witness the compassion and commitment of our dedicated supporters and their desire to keep NDSCS strong,” said NDSCS Alumni Foundation Executive Director Kim Nelson. “National Philanthropy Day gives us an opportunity to recognize and say thank you to all who have so generously given of their time, talents and resources, while also creating a new giving opportunity to support NDSCS students.
