Through her leadership of the NDSCS Alumni Foundation, Kim Nelson is a dedicated and conscientious advocate for students.  She supports the Foundation's mission to support and assist those activities that develop and strengthen NDSCS by building strong relationships with business and industry leaders.

Kim's fundraising and development work, in partnership with the NDSCS Alumni Foundation's Board of Directors, provides students with scholarship resources to reach their academic goals and career aspirations.  

She has held various positions at NDSCS over the past two decades. In her current role, she has helped grow the investment and endowment funds. Kim values the many friendships she has with Alumni and friends across the country. Kim is a Wyndmere, ND native. She and her husband, Brian, now resides in Minnesota lakes country near Fergus Falls.

Barb joined the NDSCS Alumni Foundation in 2009. In her role as a Donor Development Representative, she communicates with alumni and friends, manages annual and endowment scholarships and works with database and financial tracking.

Barb is from Powers Lake, N.D. She is a 1987 NDSCS graduate with a Stenographic Secretarial and Computer Operation degree. Barb enjoys the diversity of the college and working in the Alumni/Foundation office. Barb resides in Wahpeton with her husband, Will, and two sons.

Denise is a valuable member of the Alumni/Foundation team and serves as the Event Specialist.  She directs the NDSCS Alumni Foundation's DREAMS Auction fundraising event.  Denise also assists with the coordination of the Alumni Meet & Greet Events, Homecoming and other related functions.

Denise grew up in Goodrich, N.D. and graduated from Bismarck High School.  She is also an NDSCS Alumni with a Marketing and Management degree. Denise and her husband Perry live in Wahpeton and have three grown children. She enjoys the excitement the DREAMS Auction creates in the community and working with the many student volunteer groups.

The NDSCS Alumni Foundation is excited to welcome Yoney Fobb as our Director of Gift Planning. Yoney, originally from Denver, CO, is a 2003 NDSCS Business Administration graduate. While a student he played football for the Wildcats and met his wife Renata, a member of the 2003 Wildcat Volleyball team. Following graduation, Yoney continued playing football for East Central Oklahoma then returned to the community to raise his family. Yoney and Renata have four children; Jaida, Sienna, Malea, and Camden. They also own the local Snap Fitness. The Fobb’s are very invested in the community and NDSCS.

Yoney will be organizing the NDSCS Foundation’s fundraising initiatives and building relationships with donors, staff and volunteers. He looks forward to spending time with fellow alums and friends of the college, hearing stories and sharing his Wildcat Pride.

Denise has several years of experience working with non-profit organizations and foundations, specifically in K-12 and higher education. Serving in the past as the Executive Director of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota, she had the privilege of bringing together volunteers, businesses, and non-profit professionals to enable them to be more effective and efficient in their mission. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Marshall County Central (MCC) Education Foundation, where she was instrumental in starting this non-profit organization. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Friends of Maplewood State Park .

Denise resides with her husband, Brian, in Vergas, MN, where they own Farm 41 and offer to the public horse-drawn wagon and sleigh rides and the opportunity to experience the rural life setting. They have two married sons, Keaton and Colton.

As the Senior Development Officer at NDSCS, Denise will be responsible for cultivating and identifying donors that have a passion for NDSCS as well as help build on the already strong commitment of the current active alumni and friends. Denise will also help the Foundation in its strategic planning process and prepare ways to engage the community while helping the Foundation  reach a wider and more broad audience.
